Car Stalls (auto) HELp Needed

hi
i just rebuild my head and put it back together(after a BHG) but when i rev it up to 3000 rpm it stalls ,...there is nothing on it past the down pipe(its a turbo)..u think it can be from that...is the fact that there is no exhaust and Cat on it..is that causing the car to stall?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rest assured, no cat after the turbo or pipe after the down pipe isn't causing a stall. You plant your foot on the accelerator, and as soon as it hits 3000, it dies?

check codes... sounds like afm... thats what happened to me, at around 3k rpm it would stop and die down than come back up, if i was holding the gas down.

AFM or TPS hitting fuel cut off on RPM
