My car seems to shake/ vibrate a around 2500 rpms only in gear. It won't shake when in neutral. Feels like a very bad unbalanced tire. At 2500 rpm

does speed have any effect on the issue, better/worse? auto trans/5spd? anything been worked on recently?
5spd well It's a project car and I can only drive it around the neighborhood but I think it's 1st and 2nd gear that does it bad
If it was an engine problem, it would vibrate in neutral or gear. So stop with the 2500 RPM, and say what speed. And then if the speed is the same in the different gears. And it should be.
