well today i installed a set of subs and an amp in the trunk of my car, the car was perfect before i started, but as soon as i connected the power wire for the sub to the positive terminal on the battery the car lost all power, yes the amp was grounded in the trunk before connecting the power wire. Yes the battery is fully charged and the terminals are making a connection. I checked the breaker in the drivers side kick panel and it was good, so i am thinking main fuse in the fuse box under the hood? Would autozone carry this fuse or is it toyota dealer only? I need to get this car going soon.
Thanks for the help.

autozone carries fusible link wire, but i just got mine from Toyota. it cost like $5. make sure that you take the fuse box apart, and UNSCREW it from the bottom. it does NOT just pull out.
