I have had a similar problem that I can't fix. However, most people will suggest checking your AFM electronics, your ISCV and your TPS (maybe.) Also, are you pulling any codes (Check engine light)?

I also have similar problem, but it only happens when I step on gas and let it off quickly. I am pretty sure its my tps though.

yeah it throws a code every once in a while. my discharge pipe used to be the reason it did it but i am almost positive it is all put together and tight. today i melted all the wires that go to the plug that has the o2 sensor. it blew the efi fuse. and since then the problem is worse. it has done it for a while but now it does it everytime

You should check the codes and all the other things mentioned above. If it isn't your AFM, ISCV or TPS it might also have to do with injectors or ecu or vaccuum leak (all possibilities.) It is more likely then not a problem with a part I mentioned in the first post, but in my case all that has been replaced or checked to no avail.

Did you repair the O2 sensor plug? Usually stalling after coming off throttle quickly is due to an overly rich decel condition. Typically caused by the BOV not recirculating the waste air correctly, read: leaking on the discharge side, faulty AFM, or anything causing an overly rich condition. If your O2 sensor is not working and the ECU has no O2 sensor signal, then the ECU will run in open loop, which is a rich condition. Sounds to me like you have a combinition of issues that need to be fixed. Invest in a wideband, then you'll know all the time if you are running overly rich, which can be just as bad as running lean.

what is a good wideband to get and where can i get it at? i know i am running rich because i have 550 rc injectors and i get about 15 miles to the gallon ha. but i also have the turbo xs bov that does not recirculate into the motor. thanks for all the help.

Thats probably it. Your car is running too rich. I used to have the same problem with my ssqv. Recirculated it and now everything is fine.

Innovate LM-1 is the best as far as I care. You can get an AEM UEGO or an LC-1. All will do very well. Depends on if you want to datalog or just keep an eye on your AFR. The BOV is definitely your culprit. You'd have to fabricate something if you wanted to recirculate it, or you could get an SAFC and use the decel function to lean it out off throttle.

dashpot
and probably more specifically; a hole in the hose between the dashpot and check valve

hey man, just got your PM a bit ago.

was there anything that you noticed happen before this started happening? Last I heard it was running excellent... anything you can think of that happened before this started?

also, what codes are you pulling? have you fixed the o2 problem yet?

what isnms is suggesting sounds like a good thing to check as well...

Isnms: Unlikely he has a dashpot problem. Dashpot is only for emissions. When the TPS comes off IDL the ISCV remains fixed in the position it was just before the IDL contact opened. Assuming he had a decent idle prior to that it should pick up where it left off when IDL closes again. And remember, injection is cut anyway upon decel. Follow me?

hey justin yeah the car was runnin excelent. i didnt have any complaint except for the gas milage haha. but it runs fine now it just drops down if i rev it up and shuts off. o2 plug is all fixed but im gonna go back through and shrink wrap it and all that good stuff. it just hung down and melted on the turbo.:aigo:. it wont die if i keep it in gear and slow down while downshifting. i put a turbo xs bov on it and thats basically when it started because it is just venting into the atmosphere. the hardpipes that i have right now are kinda shitty and i blew the charge pipe off when i hit boost. i have it fixed for now but plan on getting it done right this week. i just need the two peices weleded together instead of it being connected by rubber. but the car is running fine other than the idle. still drives perfect. it reads that it is running really rich on the a/f gauge.
