I havent had this problem since the winter time, but she started acting up again. When i get in to start the car, i press the clutch and turn the key,and i get 1 click. So I keep pressing down harder on the clutch and keep tryin but its only one click at a time. Then maybe a minute to 20 minutes later it will finally turn over. It will make several attempts before actually turning over. The starter it self seems fine, is it possible that the clutch switch is bad. I seen this thread http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23088, his clicking sound seems to be different than mine.

Its more than likely the starter is actually bad. What happens is the brushes get worn and non longer make good contact. The clicking you hear is most likely the solonoid clicking trying to engage the starter, but the starter motor is not spinning. every time you engage that solonoid it will move the starter motor a tiny little bit, until it finally reaches a point where the brushes make contact and then it will turn. Its a very common way for starters to fail.
