Car is higher than an inch on one side.

The right side of my car is about an inch higher than the left side. I thought maybe the springs are worn and need a replacement. It seemed obvious because the side of the car that is lower than the other side is the left side and I thought maybe the car had only the driver in there most of the time before I bought it a few years back. But a friend's friend said that it may be a bent knucle assembly, worn bushings or ball joints, height of the tires, and maybe control arm. Is he right?

It is not the difference in tire height or size or the air's inflation. And I know that this car has no signs of a salvage title and it has never been in an collision. Is it just the springs like I first thought or is my friend's friend right? My friend said that I should have an alignment shop check the car out. I probably should do that, but I also want to hear what you Supra owners thinks. Anybody ever had this happen before to their Supra?

How does the car drive?
After I hit a curb, my Supra drove fine, but sagged a bit on the wheel that contacted the curb.
Once taken all apart, the long bolt that holds the upper control arm to the subframe was bent, and also the lower part of the shock body was dented, where the eye was welded to it, and that caused an overall 1" lower stance on that side.

Pull your suspension apart and find out.
Or you can bring it to an alignment shop and have them look at it to see if they can find anything causing the droop.

I don't think it was the size of the previous owner's gf because it is the driver side that is lower which looks to be fine. But that is a good guess.

The car drives fine.

I better take it to a professional mechanic to find out what is really the issue since everything seems fine to me.

I would say that that's your best bet right there.
As I said about my car, it drove fine. didnt pull or anything, yet there was the visual difference in height between both sides.

IMO, to have a shop look at it is well worthit. They'll figure out what's wrong with it, and most times only charge 1 hour labor(at the most, 2. or even 1.5). Which, around here, is ~$50-$70, and they'll tell you what you need to fix to make it right again.

My brother's 88 mk3 was like that. After he dropped it with ST springs, the driver side was lower than the passenger side. My friends 89 mk3 was thhe same too. Another friends 91 mk3 was the same also. The driver side is lower then the passenger side. All three of these cars have never been in an accident or curb rash. All three cars were fine until they were dropped with springs, so something must be going on.....

If you have certain high pressure gas struts and the car is not on a perfectly even and level pavement, the car won't sit even. These are the high pressure ones, I think they were KYBs. My brother had purchased them for his Mustang. The car would only sit even on flat level ground.
