got an alarm for our MK3. Has this "shock" sensor... says it's a basically motion/shock detector. I'm not sure where to mount the shock sensor? Ideally you'd want it mounted where you're dome light is, but we have a targa... Anyone else have one of these sensors mounted in there car? if so, where?

I have a shock sensor.
I mounted it on the passenger side fire wall. If you mount it to the side of the car, you'll get a lot of false alarms. I put it on the passenger side to keep it away from drive by traffic vibration. You should also get a very good one. The cheaper ones don't adjust too good. You either get no vibration sensing or too much.
The heat doesn't seem to bother it.
