The laws for age of consent are complex, but yes, 14 is the earliest you could get away with it in theory.

Actually, it doesn't seem to cause us much in the way of problems. Among other things, most 14yo Canadian girls can and will kick your ass back into the stone age if you treat them wrong, especially if you are some 55yo lecher.Reign_Maker said:
Think about it this way - mother nature thinks we are old enough to have kids at puberty - if we weren't, then puberty wouldn't happen until we were 21. All the laws regarding this are trying to do two things - prolong the inevitable, and slow down a basic instinctual drive. If you don't think instinctual drives are that powerful, try telling a 34yo woman that she shouldn't have kids for another 10 years - but I highly suggest you wear armour AND get a good head start beforehand.

I guess just morally, I couldnt even imagine sex with a 14y/o... I mean, I have a friend who has a 14/15 y/o daughter, and I've been over to hios house on many occasions when all her little friends would be over and they'd be runnin around being kids, and as cute as some of them might be, its just that, "cute little girls being little girls"... I respect other country's cultures... I lived in Germany for years, and have moved all over with my father being military... I know that if you grow up in a society thats like that, then thats what you know and thats how you live, so its normal... So the way things are handled are different than what Im used to... So I cant and wont argue with anoyones freedoms and rights... But for me personally, I just state my feelings, and understandably, I expect people to respect mine... As I respect theirs...
I guess what Im saying is: I dont so much think the law is wrong, I think the scenerio is... But then again, everything and everyone is different... I suppose it could be argued that the majority of 14y/os are NOT ready for sex, however, there may be a few who are... *neutral enough? LOL*
