If i can use it. is there anything i can't do like use the Stock fan from the setup on the 1J please let me know.

I am not there yet but want to get this allfigured out so i know what i need and can see what else i can get rid of

Yes you can use a 7m rad for a 1J but I dont think the fluidyne will allow you to mount the hydro fan, I think to run the hydro you would have to use a koyo

There is also a sensor bung in the 1jz radiator for the hydrofan temp sensor.
Hydrofan seriously kicks ass! Best option of all fo sho.

Don't put flex-a-lite fans on any supra reguardless of the engine. FAL fans cause overheating problems on 7m, 1jz, and 2jz mk3's. I have 2 FAL fans sitting here that will never go on a Supra again.

I've used fans before in my MKIII, and yes, overheat problems and heat soak were a problem in mid summer, even with my CSF radiator.

stock cooling belt driven fans FTW

you can keep your fluidyne rad with the hydro fan setup. just make some mounting tabs for the fan shroud.

For your temp sensor just drill/tap a pipe, cut out a piece of your upper rad hose, and place that pipe there. voila, working hydro fan setup.

I agree, that would not be too difficult. Only make sure to put the sensor in the lower hose, not the upper. Or, just put it where the drain cock was :icon_wink
The hydrofan shroud is easy to adapt to the 7m radiator you already have.
