Mine has marks and scuffs and doesnt have anymore luster to it. Is there anyway I can sand out the imperfections or anything like that to give it back its old finish? Also the top emblem on it is now upside down over the past few years I guess it just was tightened in more to that point or something, I really have no idea, only had it a year.

It is, especially when its hot, but I know its worth money and right now Im keeping it. I did have a borrowed TRD Shift knob for a month... I want that back haha but while I have this I want it to look nice. The old owner wore a ring that put marks on the pass side and its rough on the surface now

Just start with like a 400 grit and work your way up to 2000 grit. Then use some mothers metal polish and it should look pretty good again.

I have the greddy counterweight shift knob. I love it except for when it gets hot. Minor details though.

Is yours awesome Trust or lame Greddy :p

Lame greddy. But it is pretty heavy for a shift knob and it makes the shifting with the r154 and merlin crawler bushing and sogi mod. I just love the way mine shifts. It is sex.
