Why would you install internals, before machining the engine. Plus a torque plate is for boring and honing of cylinders. What exactly needs to be done on this engine?
if its aluminum how thick does it have to be ? 2 inch? was looking on ebay...

lol, i was thinking about telling him i just had the pistons in with no crank or rods because i had shoved them into the cylinder and they stuck...
suprarich cannot rent torque plates as he uses them in his machine shop. he can sell them. i am the one building the engine for jay (gilligan) so i would like to use my machinist locally, however if i cannot find a torque plate soon ill just use rich to do all the machine work.
