I just heard it but it makes no sense to me.

"Mexicans, they'll work today but they won't work tomorrow"

What does it mean, that they're lazy on some days but not others or is it just a bad joke?

If only things were that easy. California might have the most diverse population, but it also has the most KKK members, and those are just the white superemicists who are registered. It could also be that California has a lot of people compared to other states.

The deportation interpretation makes more sense, but I'm still not laughing.
