Allan,

I am getting the comp cams part# 975's....the 60lb springs....I know ( by what I have read on Jeff from HPF's page) that anything over a 250 duration on the stock valvetrain ( valve length actually) will cause interfrerence or just valves smashing into the piston's.

How much were the regrinds?

Hello there,

I am interested in having my 7mgte (supra inline 6) stock cams reground from their 200 degree duration into something around the lines of 245-250 duration ( with same lift). I am trying to keep it simple, anymore than that would cause interference with the stock valvetrain. I am upgrading to Comp cams valvesprings. ( actually they are made for chevy v8's ...part# 975)

How much would this run me?

Of course I am not really ready to drop $250 on cams right now...but its really just for knowledge and to make up my mind as to WHO to use and for what price. Something to look into this sommer.

Sweetness!

Allan thats great stuff!

I know the 7m head ( cams really ) are lacking on the duration part....it just runs WAY out of breath over 5500 rpm. I consistantly shift ( by feel ) at 5300-5500 rpm....thats 1200 below redline...its stupid.

There is so much power just waiting to be opened up there...and I am not even begining to tap into it!
