my motor has a fully built bottom end and I have a sp58gt turbo. Right now I can notice a fall off around 6 thousand rpms. I have no head work except a 3 angle valve job.
I dont know much of anything about cams so here is my questions.
1. Am I right in that you can put the 264s in with out any other head upgrades or modifications? No need for springs ,retainers and so right?
2. I dont want to rev any higher than stock, but would the 264s help breathing in the 5500-6500 rpm range that I lack in now?
3. compared to stock cams, would the 264s increase lag and decrease low end response?
I just want something that will help pull through the stock rpm range better on the the top end.
