hey guys i'm fixin up my 1987 toyota supra non turbo. I've already feel in love with it, and it's driving pretty well right now because i'm treating it well, but i want to put some racing cams and headers in my supra. I heard brian crowner or somethin close to that are good quality cams, but could u please put up some info for me on cams and headers.so i can be enlightened haha. oh ya i already put some new nipendenzo(wrong spelling) spark plugs, new oil, and magnaflow muffler + tip, and will soon have new radiator hoses in.

search is one way but alot of peopele say headers dont really make much of a difference on our cars because the stock one flows really well already. and as for the cams they usuallly only sell re-grinds the most you would need for an N/A would be 244's. I suggest ordering from 935motorsports they are a reputable seller and thats where i got mine from. The cams do make a difference though

Ok, this shows that you have put in no effort into finding information. Look at the stickies.

Heres my personal take one this:

Modding a non-turbo beyond a simple exhaust and intake is simply a waste in my book. I started to, and finally added up the price of a good NA build, it wound up being twice the price of turbo, for less than half the hosepower.

NA-T that bad little girl! ;)

Yes and then some of us saif forget about it I'm building my na. This is the supra I have. If I have another it'll be a parts car. To each there own most definitley.

It's just odd that radiator hose replacement seems like a big deal to this guy. He sounds like he may need some real help and we should help him.

But he needs to help himself first.

toofast4urass: Here's some links to what you want to know:
headers: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-...016QQitemZ260080146563QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
This header needs the y-pipe welded to the collectors, and the o2 sensor bung moved like the one in the pic:View attachment 14777 although in hindsight I would've put it on the trans. side of the exhaust. I have this header on my car, and the differerence IS noticable with good exhaust.

cams:http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25481
Also, here's some good info on cam tuning: http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=411951

It's good that you've done a tune-up and some maint. first thing. Easier to do radiator hoses now, then later when one blows out and takes the head gasket with it.... Check the coolant hoses on the back of the head as well. Might want to check your timing belt, to. Here's a link to the all the info you need to fix this car: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/techtips.aspx The TSRM's are Toyota Supra Repair Manuals.

Good luck, and have fun...
