I read somewhere u can swap from a turbo cam to a N/A and get more power. How much more power do you get and how long does it take to swap out? Do you just unbold the cam gears and they come out or wut I have never swaped cams on a car

nope not more power. You just switch the power band around.

If i recall the N/A and turbo EXHAUST cams are the same. The intake is different but not by much.

For a N/A motor you could also look into the group buy that HPF is doing. should help you out a bit.

Figgie.... Please prove these statements. im sorry man but I dont get why you say that besides the fact that you might have heard other people say it. I look at the dyno that DJVmk3 did over at supraforums and he gained 10rwhp and 15rwt. At 6000+ rpms they are equal but the power with N/A cams never drops below the run with turbo cams.

Sorry man, Its hard to explain. On the dyno comparing N/A cams with Turbo cams, at around 6000rpm hp and torque are equal. Through out the curve the dyno with the N/A cams never drops below the Turbo curve. This means that hp and torque with the n/a cams is always greater then or equal to turbo cams through out the power curve. If it just shifted the power curve, it would drop below at some point.

ok i kinda understand what your are talking about. but couldnt you just use adj. cam gears to move around the power curve.
