the steel cam gear has a hole in it that line's up with a notch in the aluminum housing.then you just need to slide it in centering the bolt in it's addjustment.hope that make's sense.it's easier to do then explain

you need to make sure the marks on the top of cam gear are striaght up and make sure the motor is at top dead center then check your tenson on your belt
1. set crank to TDC
2. set cams to straight up
3. install and tighten belt
4. line up these marks (2nd image)
5. put cps in
6. set timing
