Where is the o-ring on the cps? Is it the black ring on the shaft? How do you replace them? Mine is hard like metal. Where can you buy other than dealership?

You got it right on the location of the o-ring. I'm not sure where else you could get one other than the dealer.
I would highly suggest you get it from Toyota. A few people have had their cars catch on fire from an oil leak there. Toyota part #90099-14088 $2.50. HTH
