Cam Gear Material

Thinking about anodizing my cam gears for a little project, are the NA cam gears made of aluminum or some other metal?

they are steel.
not sure if you can anodize steel, but i painted mine with some high temp paint. it was a little ricey, but it looked better than rusting bare steel...

want some nearly new red gears?

you can only anodize aluminum, titanium, and magnesium...so no

^ yea powdercoat them.. looks the best.. and chose something not flashy... flat black? thad be good.

You can powerder coat it look like anything.
