I want to use fittings on my cam covers for my catch can but I'm not sure which fitting to get and how they mount to the actual cam covers? Are the threaded on, welded or what? I'd rather not have to wait for the slow welders around my area so if there's another way to hook it up, I'd like to know. Example below.

You can do it either way it's your choice.. if you thread them.. you can put the ends in, or you can weld them and have them there forever, it's just whatever you want, I personally would just weld them but again, it's up to you.

If you weld them they'll never leak :)

I come from a land down under
Why?

Stock rail easily flows double the power I make ;)

Propane is on hold till Liquid Phase Injection becomes readily available here in Australia so I'm back on Petrol for the time being.
(can you do me a favour and spell check your posts please my brain is about to explode, my thread is easy to find it's in my sig ;))

Easily enough meat to pull the stock fitting and drill and tap to 3/8th bspt.
(Mine are done this way)

So I can use something like in the link below? And tap the outside of the cam cover pieces, 3/8th's right?

What is the 3/8th's equivalent in AN size? (for the hose)

EDIT: Ok so the link below is what I need?

Yep you could use that or any of the various 3/8>AN style fittings as they do male as well as the female you linked.

Usually -6>-8, this is why I use the brass fittings they're -10
