Cam Angel Sensor! Timing

After a long search I cannot find much. or if i do find something it's dumb and not worth trying. I just got done with my motor is all back together rebuilt, Now How do I time the damn Sensor, I have it at TDC right now, is that where I start?:naughty::naughty::naughty::naughty:

Im good I set up the Cas so I can only advance it. I don't want to retard the timing, Right now it's on spec: if you go up it advances it thanks. I figured it out.

It should look like this:




Make sure the crank is pointing at "zero" and both cam gears are aligned to the index mark on the back plate.

Ummm...I'm not sure what you mean by "cannot retard timing". It really needs to look like the pic I posted...that puts the tightening bolt at about mid point in the CPS securing slot. You are going to need +/- to get your base ignition timing correct.

meaning he is like a tooth or so off from having the cps completely center which would allow you to move it either way instead of one way.

which I might add means try again till you got the thing perfect and able to adj both ways.
