Boat it :D

Granted, by the time it gets there it'll be more expensive than buying one in good condition, but really, the whole thread was designed to point out that i found a Mk2 here (seeing as the last time i found 10 in one go all in various states of decomposition)...i had seriously thought about buying it - but wouldnt know what to do with it!

You really bite the big one man. Mk2s are rare as hell over there and you should have gotten it!

Well, i would, but if it was in mint condition...which that one isnt. Theres a Maroon one in good enough nick with the digidash for £400 though...guy has 'a fleet' of them. It looks like the same guy that was trying to offload about 10+ of them earlier this year...

I wouldn't pay that much for a MKII.

Plenty of low mileage mk2s are reaching over the $10,000+ range, increasing the value of these cars all over. I had the great experience recently of viewing the lowest mileage mk2 I've ever seen in person, and I would definitely pay what this guy paid for it.
