Well I finally figured out my problem with my wheel hopping and shaking. Changed ball joint, stopped for about 3 hours (ball joint did need changed anyways). Well it got so bad that my front end was shaking and started pulling to the right bad. When i stopped at a light i had to step on the gas to get moving - stuck caliper. I drove slowly home, but rotor/caliper/pads all need changed. When i stopped my brake system was smoking! :aigo: LOL

Anyways, heres my question. When looking at calipers there are regular, semi-loaded, and fully loaded. Never heard of this? What are the differences?

fully loaded = shims/pads/springs installed in caliper
partial = shims/springs, no pads
regular = just the caliper itself (with pistons installed, etc)

this is from memory, and may not be completely correct....hopefully you get the idea though.

I know you are correct on the regular and semi loaded, I don't think we sell any fully loaded so I'm not 100% sure but I think you are right on that one too.

I went to murrays auto discount and they had options. Of course the lady I called had no idea. so I called my buddy, and you are right.... basically fully loaded means you have everything you need to just bolt it up.
