Does anyone know how to calibrate electronic boost gauges?
My HKS unit reads at .25 kPa, instead of zero.

There are no adjustments to be made on the back of the unit under the stickers... I thought maybe I could do something at the sender.

If you have any information on how to do this, let me know.

brent, is it possible to remove the gauge face, and just move the needle? i've never used an electric boost gauge before, so i'm shooting in the dark here. i assume there's no adjustment on the sending unit?

I've been wondering the same thing, I have an HKS peak hold gauge. I was messing around with buttons once and it zeroed out, but now its off again and I can't figure out how to re-calibrate it. If anyone knows how, let us know.

Trent on SF said it was impossible, so I'd tend to believe someone who's been in the industry.

I'll call HKS again on Monday, and see what they say. (As if I'll actually get in touch with them.)

that sucks! there's no way to remove the gauge face is there? if you could do that, perhaps you could simply pop the needle off, and replace it at the right mark? :(

Nah, the HKS gauges look like they're all one piece... believe me I tried.

The back of the unit is a stud, with a nut and lock washer.
When you loosen the nut the housing still doesn't budge... I think HKS may be the only ones who can help me.
