Calgary Supras?

I have been thinking about moving to Calgary (currently in Victoria BC) once I'm finished school (July) due to better money and more jobs in my field (Mechanical Engineering Technologist). My sister has been living there for a few years, but I don't know many others.

Is there a large number of Supra owners? Local meets? Track near by?

I'm also looking for some general info about the city if anyone wants to post, how do you find the summer/winter, any areas to stay away from when looking for a place to live, etc.

There are a large number of Supra owners. Not that many with really nice cars and there aren't that many meets (if any). Most of the time it seems people get together in smaller groups, not many big meets.

In either case, if you come out this way, stop by Stampede Toyota parts and say hello!

im around, im starting to try and get people interested out to meets, i figured red mile would be a nice central location in the city to get some supra people together, there are plenty of bars and sports pubs around for such things. hey jeff, you should bring your supra around sometime, we've yet to meet up since ive moved up to calgary from lethbridge.

we really need to get people out to hang out, almost every other major city does except calgary, WHAT GIVES?

how much do you want for it? my budget for the shell is rather low, because i want a project car, the very highest at this point in time is 1500 bucks, which probably doesnt work for you. is this that white car you have?
