almost a year ago my heater core started leaking. had greasey windshield and damp carpet. i was in a pinch and never once use the heater or defrost so i just bypassed the hose.

however i just spliced heater hose to the existing hoses on the motor. i cant for the life of me see how to get to the lower heater hose(driver side). is it possible without pulling the motor? the upper hose isnt a problem at all to get to.

i would like to run a new straight piece of hose to bypass the heater if i can get to it.

You should be able to get at it. I know I did heater hoses when the engine was in my car, and it was a little tough, but not bad....

i cant even See the connection though. its so far down and behind the motor from what i can tell. might have to enlist someone with smaller hands to get to it lol.
