so my bvsv broke a nipple today. this is the second i have broken. Does it really affect the way the car performs? I didn't notice a difference. and for those who have no clue what i'm talking about it is the bi-metal vaccum switching valve on your thermostat housing that has two vaccum lines running to it.

I dont have the repair manual in front of me, but it might just be for the charcoal canister.

Yep, that's all it's for. Either replace it or plug the line.
