Buying used transmission. With or without ABS? Does it matter????

As the title says, my friend is currently in the market for a good condition R154 7mgte transmission...

On the internet salvage yard database we are using it asks:

With or Without ABS

Does this make a difference? Is this just a database computer fluke or something? Or is there REALLY a difference from the ABS and NON ABS R154 equipped mk3's??

Yep the ABS trans has the shutter wheel on the output shaft and a hole to mount the sensor.

WITH ABS

I guess that would make it an 88-92 transmission.

87-92 Transmission, ABS was optional on all years for the Turbo, and 87+ for the N/A.

Not to thread jack. Is there ne diffence with swapping in a r-154 into an ABS equiped n/a, assuming the r-154 is also has ABS.I know u have to change other things as well, i was just wondering if i was to do it, would i still have the abs.
