Against my better judgement, I told the wife I would live in a community that could tell me what I could and couldn't do in my own house/property.

My question is. Lets say I get cited for... leaving a car parked in my driveway for too long... running/plated/insured... assuming this was a problem, Dad just said some communities do not like this... What would happen to said car?

Or if I cut my grass 1 day later than everyone else and it was 2.25" instead of 2"? The numbers on my mailbox are the wrong font? Curtains have too many stripes?

I REALLY do not want to get into BS like this, but the price is MUCH better than getting out of this crapp. I already know anything more in depth than changing my oil is a big no-no.

What could they do if I told them to go fudge themselves?

*edit*
I haven't purchased, planned to purchase, talked to a realtor, or done much more than look on remax.com/century21.com/etc...

It really depends on how strictly everything is enforced. I lived in a community that was pretty lax - I never even heard a peep about any of my blatant violations.

They suck and are completely retarded in every way...

I'm sorry mister snob, I can't afford to have the dealer fix my fucking car...

What I do on MY property is MY business, PERIOD. I live with my folks right now and it sucks to work on the car in the garage cause it's small. I'm buying land in the middle of nowhere and building a big house and an even bigger garage...
