Button for Recline Broke

The button to recline the drivers side seat back is broken and now I have to use a screw driver just to be able to move the seat back to a comfortable place. How can I fix it? Its the plastic piece that goes to the switch not the piece for the pivot for the button...

Mine was like that too, I used a screwdriver and never touched it again. As for fixing it.... I bought new seats. Do you still have the broken tab? Can you tell where it broke? I would go to toyota and see if you can get that part.

Yea ive got all the pieces im gonna make a list for my friend that works at toyota, I dont want to get new seats tho...

ok i'm lost, is the seats in the 89+ different from the ones in the pre89? cause if not i have 2 extra seats man and you can come look at them if you want

corbeau is cheaper, and their non-adjustable ones are wide enough to fit my fat ass, unlike recaro&sparco seats. fukin skinny italian bass-turds
