i bought the car with these lights already in non-working condition, i replaced all of the bulbs but that did not fix the problem. (front driver-side blinker, passenger-side brake light, and brake light on hatch)

how would any of you guys go about fixing it? do i have to follow the wires all the way down and look for a messed up cord? or is there a way maybe fuses were blown..? b/c that seems like an easier alternative to looking for a blown wire :\

help me plzzz, the car needs to be inspected, but i've gotta stay away from evil money sucking mechanics, lol

Check the connectors for visible corrosion, clean them if needed. Then if that fails, test the wiring for continuity. Just looking at the wires won't necissarily tell you if there's a break... plus it's much faster.
