Went to a show last night (As I Lay Dying \ Haste the Day \ Through the Eyes of the Dead \ All That Remains)

My left foot only got stomped the shit out of it all night seemingly. Not enough pain to leave but now it's hurting a bit more. We handed out plenty of kicks in the back as well :evil2:

Is this something I should see the Dr about ? Pinky toe seems useless to me and I don't want a cast on my clutch foot. Only thing I'm worried about is if it's broken the wrong way it might get an infection.
I've broken everything but my spine and legs so it I can relate it to other breaks and IMO is the minimalist one thusfar.

I don't think docs can really do much about broken toes anyway, maybe just give you pain meds and stay off that foot or be careful with it.

I've broken mine a few times. Never went to a doctor for it. Just keep it elevated. It will feel better in a week or so.

Bone broken? It can grow together wrong....

You can always attempt to make your own "cast" by using popsicle sticks and medical tape, but you better be doped up to deal with the excruciating pain of messing w/ it.

I'm not worried about healing wrong or crooked cause I'm not gay and don't wear sandals anyways, just slightly concerned it might get internal infection and have to be removed and\or get gangreen (sp?)
THAT would be the suck.

Nah man, don't worry about all that stuff. All a doctor is gonna do, is do what Tanya suggested with teh popsicle sticks. The only difference is they'll charge you what your asking for your car.

Idk, my mom broke her pinky toe a few years back and it took more than 6 months to heal cuz she never really did anything with it.

A quick doctor visit wouldn't hurt anything, but like the others, I doubt they'd do much to help you out.

I broke that same toe about 2 months ago. It ended up falling off instead of healing.

J/k, I didn't do anything with it and it healed just fine. It just hurt for a couple of weeks.

I know exactly what the dr/er will do:
Glance at it and charge you $100
Send you for an Xray :$40
Have Xray read $35
Tell you it's broke/not broke

Prescribe something stupid like Naproxen Sodium or Tylenol 800...
Give you a stupid 'sandal' looking boot thing so your toe isn't hitting your shoe $25

They wont cast it, you wont go to surgery, and everyone in Radiology will consider you a wuss for the rest of your days.

My $.03.

You can paypal me $25.99 for my advice.

If I do not get paid, I will come break the rest of your toes.
