im trying to figure out whats wrong with my car, it idles find, and revs fine but when i start hitting boost, it starts to break up. another thing is when i rev it hard, it starts to build boost? could the timing be off?

Word, check the plugs. What's your setup like? My car did the same thing, put in fresh plugs gapped to .028 and the thing ran great. I also leaned it out a touch too, which helped.... good luck.
