First, sorry to make another brake post, but I haven't found what I was looking for at all with google or here in the forums.
Well, I did find a few things on google, but not enough.
A few days ago, I was looking through my magazines out of pure boredom, and found one article in which a guy bought a pretty simple brake kit that was actually strong enough for a street car and at a fair price.
Turns out he had contacted the guys from fastbrakes (or something). Thing is, his car was a Sentra, not a Supra. So I paid them a visit, but they only have kits for our cars, which cost more than $1,500. I'm really not interested in buying a kit that expensive when I'm barely going to use the car at the track (maybe once every 2 months?). Honestly, I'm just highly interested in strong 4-piston calipers up front, and I'm a big fan of the Wilwoods (which were the kits being offered in the site). Not sure if it was $250 a piece or for both but either way it's fine with me. As for brake discs, i was considering some powerslots or anything that lasts longer than the stockers, but without crossdrilling (not in the mood for the small cracks). As for slots..... im ok with them, but i'd prefer not.....
So, anyone out there that has found these products at fair prices or any swaps that wont leave the car with funny camber problems nor requiring extensive modifications that just arent worth it in the end?
Thanks in advance btw, and sorry i havent posted in such a long time!
