My brakes lights stopped working...but not completely....sometimes they work and sometimes they don't....when they work they stay working till I shut the car off and few hours later turn it back on....the tail light failure lamp comes on in the cluster when they don't work! This morning they weren't working so I went and tightened all the grounds and still no go....I played with wires and no go....I unpluged the tail lamp failure modual and cleaned the prongs and blew out the plug and no go....then said fuck it and plugged everything back up and all the sudden they worked again.....then I let the car sit for about 6 hours started it up and they still worked...went to get gas and when I started the car they decided not to work again!
I'm a retard when it comes to wire diagrams and wireing in general....
What wires should I test and is this a sign of the failure modual dieing?
I'm willing to fucking pay whoever knows or can tell me how to fix this!!! I have a voltmeter but I don't know what wires to test and if I need to bypass the lamp failure modual then I don't know what wires to splice....again...whoever can fix this I'll toss you $20....I need answers asap!
