I'd like to replace as many lines as possible during my rebuild, and was wondering where I can find braided SS lines and fittings for items like-
-Turbo coolant
-Turbo oil
-oilcooler
-Fuel (coming in/going out)
-anything else
........how many other hoses can be replaced with silly-cone (silicone) such as all the coolant hoses for heating and such, or must I use the standard black stuff. Thanks

jbl's hoses are awesome. i bought mine about a year and a half ago, and a friend just bought some not too long ago. all you need are new gaskets/seals and you're good to go. well worthit IMO.

turbo,

jbl IF stock. Otherwise you need a garret base t3/t4 oil return flange.

Oill cooler. CAN NOT use ss on the stock system as it is all press on and not AN. CAN use SS hose if you weld on AN fittings on BOTH oil mount and oil cooler.

fuel if you mean the ENTIRE system. Prepare for lots of cash. I hope you know for all this you are looking at a minimum of $500-$1000 in hose and fittings.

Yeah I am thinking about the same thing. I am tired getting my hose busted when I boosted hard. The 90 degree hose is the one that got busted a lot. From what I can find you need -3 for coolant feeding the turbo line and -12 for other coolant line around the engine block. Can we use regular worm clam for braided stainless steel hose.

Umm no

the -3/-4 lines in NOT for cooling. It is for OIL. -12 lines for coolant is to big for oil return line.

not really actually. The worm clamp will not clamp the SS brainding enough. Ask me how i know ;)

Worm-drive clamps are really not a good idea in any case, ever. (Ok, they work fine on my clothes dryer ducting...) They can't compensate for expansion from heating, so they'll eventually crush the hoses. The spring clamps Toyota put everywhere weren't just for cheapness. They work way better. Spring clamps are the way to go, unless you have high pressure; then you use a crimp or reusable hose end.

Worm-drive clamps certainly aren't for braided hose, either, as figgie found out the hard way.

for all -6an SS lines for the fuel feed from the motor mount to the rail, then from the rail to the FPR will run you about 245 for all fittings and hose.
