bpu vs. 95ish honda

So it was the 1st day I had my car, and I was already ripping into the engine.... (sort of) i was going to do a compression test, and i found that i had a blown valve cover gasket. so me and my friend were fixing that (thanks rtv silicone). we were working at a guys house that lots of racers meet. this civic rolls up, and i thought to myself, it would be nice to have a win for the 1st day of owning my car.....
mods to my car
9psi stock turbo
3" full exhaust
intake

mods to civic (found out after race)
um, lots of stuff, b16 swap, with type r cams and pistons, and literally every bolt-on possible......

well we go out to a nice racing road and i did a smokey burnout just for kicks, anyways..... we had a guy flag us and i was looking at him/being way to excited and i boiled the tires all the way through first, so i didn't get a jump on the civic, if anything he pulled me a tiny bit out of the whole. from there he proceeded to pull on me pretty hard.... it was pretty had to swallow, by a 1/4 mile, i musta been 7 cars behind...... then he said after the race that he wasn't even shifting at 8.5k (his redline)

a month later i found that i had a small boost leak, and a bhg..... so it wasn't too bad, but i told him ill be back and im going to kill his car

i saw him at the drags and his car ran a 13.7 on streets

Just kidding. My wife outran me at the track in her 89 supra and I fessed up and told everyone. I'm not sure I've recovered from it yet though.............:biglaugh:

Supra on Supra ownage is okay. But Honda on Supra ownage?.. :icon_evil

its ok to be beat every now an again, besides my car will be far faster than that civic in no time..... however there is a turboed b16 that runs 12.0 in my car club....... i guess ill have to wait a little longer to race him......... hehe:naughty:

Hey man just get your ride running right and see what happens then. I had a 95 Civic B-16 Turbo swap and know first hand how quick they can be. Even when I drove it before the turbo there were a lot of cars I raced and beat down. But you know how fast his car is so that should tell you what get to beat him.
