Hi guys! I blew my twins some time ago,and I just installed a GT72mm turbo...
I've ordered my fuel kit.I should have it in 2 weeks. Then I'll go EMS.
For now I'm on stock ecu (jdm MAP) & fuel (440cc). I have a JDM 2jz mk3 supra:biglaugh:

I drive my car but I never go past 1-2 psi of boost,at least I try to do so:naughty:
My question is: can I go past 0 psi... let's say 4psi or 6psi of boost or I could have an issue on doing so? To lean for oem fuel setup?
I have all the electronic equipment (gauges-wideband) to monitor the A/F.
My peak boost (from the defi link peak recorded data) the most I've seen so far is about 4psi (0.25 bar) of boost.

Go up to fuel cut man, should be around 13-14 psi depending on temps.

Edit: I thought it was a 1JZ :p (took out the part about 370s haha)

^^ He is on a 2jz ecu (jdm) that is tuned for 440s, and he has 440cc injectors in his car

You should be able to run whatever gets you to ~380whp safely (without playing with fuel injectors or octaine). Take it to a dyno and tune it. Or tune so you never go over 11.5-11.8 afr

I think your limit is like mentioned before as far as your oem ECU fuel map will cover and as high as your MAP sensor will read ~14PSI 13PSI to keep it safe from spikeing.
You will peak your fuel system out roughly at the same CC as the injectors so keep it under 440hp and dont run it hard alot unless you monitor your O2 or EGT's to make sure your not running to lean anywhere.
If you are running lean pinging on hot days high altatude crap cheap gas etc..then turn down the boost or get standalone & fuel kit quick & dont drive it until then.

Well you said 2 weeks until you get the fuel system. So just monitor the a/f and if u go lean get out of it.

Thanks for the inputs guys!
I have an HKS GTII 60mm wastegate. The gate's spring rate is set at the
softest mode..... I think it is the 0.6 bar minimum spring rate.
I don't want to go over 6 psi of boost ,but the wastegate won't open
before 8.5 psi (0.6 bar) of boost.
So max boost set on the avc-r will be 8.5 psi.
And I do have an AEM wideband to monitor the A/F.

Yes it is a 2jzgte JDM motor.
I will begin my single turbo build thread. But where? Here,at the JZ motors or at the
build projects thread ?

Kinda, the ECU should be able to adjust for your mods under that boost level/fuel cut. Above that boost cut level it doesn't have a map.

Stock is boring :(

No, in open loop the ECU doesn't adjust anything.

Fuel cut is a fail safe to prevent overboost and engine failures.

The stock ecu is tuned overly rich and should be fine with his setup.
