Can I put the bov right after the turbo in that ic piping?
No splash grauds. So will that be ok? Plus at woot won't it just let hotter air out befor it gets to to the ic and keep the cooled air in?

keep in mind weather conditions
the best place to put it is debateable..

for the sake of the turbo's health, it is good to have it closer to the turbo...
and others think that it is good to have it near the intake manifold for the safety of the motor.. i think either is good.. but you have to think about a water ingestion possibilty when you have it close to the turbo... at idle the bov sits open... just a thought...

OKC, OK
alright. J and I were discussing it, had seen a few different views on it.

One was that if it's between the turbo and ic, the already cooled air won't be blown out.
Of course, this project has a non-recirc bov, but I doubt that makes much difference in it's placement.

Thanks, guys. It's going back where we found it lol.

Wait, why is it better for the turbos health to have it close? I thought the heat from the turbo would cause the diaphragm to melt? I have a knock off HKS SSQV from DM and it's fluttering now i think because of its proximity to turbo. Or is it just knock offs that can't be close? Do the brand name BOVs have any material that will go bad from extended heat exposure?
