BOV not venting

Hi guys,

Just recently installed my built 7M, and can't seem to work out this problem.

My Blitz DD bov was working perfectly before with a recirculating fitting, but now with the new motor it will not vent. Im getting compressor surge/flutter or whatever you want to call it. I have checked for vacuum leaks and also checked that the bov wasn't ceased shut.

Does anyone have any idea what may be the problem?

what is is yours BOv vac. source?? stock location?

Yep stock location. Does anyone know where the stock location goes to? I see it goin doin down by the intake mani and I can't remember how I routed it when I put everything back together.

It goes down underneath and into the vacuum hardlines underneath the intake manifold

Make sure the hose is not pinching shut under vacuum.

I think I may have found the vac leak. I sprayed throttle body cleaner at the vac lines down by the power steering pump and heard the engine revs rise. I'll start pulling shit of and I call back here to tell you of my success

The power steering does run off of vacuum also

yup the steel tube that runs in front of the timing covers is for ps and the ps also has a vacuum line to the under side of intake

YES! I love it when things just work out! Turns out the hose was completely of the nipple, not sure how it happened, but it fixed the bov problem and I think it may have fixed an idle problem that I also had.

Connects to it but not for PS. Metered air for steering idle up.
