Bottom End

Im having some problems with my assembling my bottom end... im using king bearings, and as soon as i put the thurst washers around the center cap. the crank isn't able to spin.. i also am using royal purp engine assembly lube between bearings for better metal on metal contact... I guess my main question is is the Crank suppose to turn with a slight amount of force.

Thanks

did you apply engine lube to the bearings before inserting the crank? crank should turn extremely easily once torqued down. one hand & a couple fingers should be enough to turn it.

The crank should spin freely when completely installed with no rods/pistons. If its binding up with the thrust washers you have a serious problem, endplay should be between about .002" to .010". Make sure your thrust washers are stamped STD and are seates properly (oil channels should be facing the crankshaft)
