bottom end rebuild question

hey, i was just wondering i got a bottom end gasket kit from driftmotion and it came with two orings, one small one and a large one, anyone know where these two orings go?


and another thing is my harmonic dampener it dosent go all the way in is it suppose to be like that? or is it suppose to touch the timing case/oil seal Thanks

A lot of times gasket sets will include extras, that might be the case. The CPS uses an oring, and the oil filter head uses a large o ring, maybe thats what you have. You need to make sure the timing belt crank pulley goes on and through the seal, then the lower cover goes on, then the balancer.

There's a small O ring on the oil dipstick mount, too.
