Malloynx's 550 turbo dyno day was today.
We had a really good time, and got some decent
numbers for such a rich tune.

We were expecting 5**.... and it's possible with more boost, and pulling some fuel...


I believe we were still in the 10's last I looked.

We're organizing a group dyno meet there maybe this summer, or late spring... where I'm going to debut my T-66 supra and attempt to blow it up on the dyno.

I should point out that 470 hp at the wheels is nothing to sneer at. You'll easily scare the shit out of just about any car you can purchase off a lot, and there are a lot of people in $80-100k cars that will be seriously upset when they figure out that all they can see is tail lights.

It is about time somebody made some decent numbers on the SupraSport turbo. Congrats, glad you did it Malloy! I may have to grab one of those bad boys for my street car...

You know what this means right? That car will own 600cc bikes, and some 750's too. thats easily a Low 12 second car at 120+mph... im sure that those numbers can be duplicated w/o the Race gas too.

Im surprised that you actually ran race gas for an 18psi run... MKIV's with stock twins in TTC setup will produce low 400's on 18psi and pump... i think if you do the 18psi and pump, you could do the same, if not better than TTC stock twins. thats not too shabby at ALL. Id like to see what itll do when you turn the boost up to a point where itll actually NEED race fuel!

That is a bad ass 89 too. Reminds me of Kellys car, but at least Malloy's car makes torque!!!! fuckin awesome!
