Okay, heres the deal, wento the auto store to buy new bosch 02 they gave me one with only 1 wirehookup not 3 they told me it would work. I ran the one wire to the blue wire because thats the main sensor wire. The other 2 are for a heated 02? whats the difference? seems to work whats the difference in performance or in driving?

the thing with turbo cars is it takes longer than any other engine to warm up the catalyst system. the reason for the heated system is to allow the ecu to go into closed loop faster.. basically youll be runnin pig rich untill everything is nice and warm

1 wire is for signal to ECU. 2 wires are for Heater, and if it's a 4 wire, the 4th wire is an extra ground. I wouldn't run anything but a 3 or 4 wire sensor. that 1 wire business really sucks. Take it back get yourself a 3/4 wire Sensor and cut the harness off you OEM O2 and solder it on the new sensor. Done.

Take it back, for sure.

I'd suggest just getting one from MDC, but you could browbeat the parts shop into getting you the proper three wire sensor if you wish.

The one wire will absolutely not work properly.
