so i just got my 60-1 turbo on... car wouldnt boost past 5psi, i would hit fuel cut or somthing at 5psi,,, then i drove it at night and i was able to boost 7-8psi on it no cut. then i blew out a rubber coupler, went home fixed that then i was able to hit 10 psi but i hit fuel cut at 10psi... what is going on?? i put it alot of new couplers and clamps and made sure they were all tight. before i put in the new turbo i was hiting a fuel cut at 10psi but use to be able to hit 15 with no cut... i really want to get this fixed so i can really get this turbo working right.. to me i dont think its a boost leak.. but i dont know.. could it be the AFM messing up? any ideas please help.

what are your mods? do you even have a feul system to keep up with a 60-1? Did you boost leak test? Did you prime the turbo properly?

this is fairly normal for a 60-1. you are using a larger wheel, which moves more air overall compaired to what the stock turbo puts out. this is why you are hitting fc at a lower psi.

10 psi on a 60-1 != 10 psi on a stock ct26

yes turbo was primed properly.. i dont have the lex afm and 550s yet.. but im not running much boost with it anyway... will the lex afm and 550s get rid of the fuel cut?

wont get rid of it, it'll raise it though.. you need [recommended] something to tune along with the lex afm upgrade though.

you never really want to get rid of fuel cut, as a nasty overboost can kill an engine (boost goes too high, and the fuel system can't keep up = melted and bnt internals)

Raising is another matter though...
