Would putting in a new 3" down pipe affect my manual boost controller??

cause i just put in my 3" downpipe and i went from boosting 12 psi to now i only boost about 9-10

Do you feel like you lost power, Boost is a measure of resistance to flow not power. Lower boost making same power just means you had more resistance.

hey sorry i just posted that from my friends account cause i was on his comp and was to lazy to sign off and onto mine haha.

But no i dont got any power loss at ALL haha.

In fact i have more power but my boost gauge only reads 10 psi at most now.

Does this mean that i can turn up my boost controller back up to 12 psi for even more power or would i just hit fuel cut already??

u proably could but it would be a close call on a few things. Depending on condition of stock hg. How much you have it torque down to. Just my 2 cents:biglaugh:

Fuel cut is based on air flow not directly boost so if you try turning it up again you might hit fuel cut at a lower boost pressure.

i dont have stock head gasket i have a 8k mile fresh felpro head gasket lol

wrong side of the turbo to effect the whole boost pressure/flow issue...

Did you do anything else? Check for leaks and reset your boost controller, it might have been bumped or something...
