Boost w/ Shimmed WG...

My Supra is totally stock w/ 4 washers in the wastegate...I read online that I should be hitting around 10 psi...well, I only hit like 7-8...what could cause this?? Right now, I'm thinking either a small boost leak, or a worn out actuator spring...does this sound right?

different cars have different results but that does sound a little low, im hittin 8-9 with 3 washers.....

Maybe its a difference in thickness of washers?

Or a difference in the accuracy of a mass produced gauge.

i had 4 washers in mine, and i only hit 9 psi, so i guess every car is different.

It is different for each car because with three washers I hit fuel cut all the time, So I had to drill the AFM and turn the screw.

just get a MBC from dr.jonez,and you'll be able to reach at least 12-13 psi,and save the wear on your acuator.
