Fuel cut is also a whole lot more than just a hesitation.

Have you checked for codes? What grade fuel are you running? Knock from low octane / high boost will retard your timing and make it hesitate...

Might be code 52, your knocks..they will retard timing..and feel like hesitation under Wot and boost.

Check your codes...let us know...your bound to have codes for sure..if you have hesitation.

its wierd. i dont have a c.e.l and it still does it. i have checked codes and there arent any. does anyone think it might be spark plugs or something simple. oh by the way, i run nothing but 93 octaine. been the same since the engine swap was done.

Monitor your Vf. Hook a volt meter to Vf and E1 on the check connector and tell us what it reads.
If your fuel system is in good working order, you should get a reading of 2.25-2.5 when cruising, and it should read 0 when you hit it hard.

does it also sound like its rapidly backfireing and you get a massive loss of power? ive been told that could be detonation.

not at all. it only looses power, if you want to call it that, for a slpit second, then its back to full power. not dropping boost, no back firing. its just a momentary hesitation in acceleration.

any other ideas? im still running the ct26 turbo with 550 cfm inj. im using a manual boost controllr and ive only got it set at like 10 psi.

eh, do you have a MAF-T or a lexus AFM? if you're still running the stock AFM you're probably flooding the crap out of it. any black smoke? only reason i ask is because you didnt mention that you had any upgrades that would allow more air.

yeah, it a split second then back to full boost. no problems but i might do it several times per gear.

When you say a slight hesitation, what exactly do you mean? If you're at WOT with full boost and take your foot completely off the throttle for a half second, then slam it back to WOT again, *that* is what Fuel cut feels like. It's not just a hesitation, it hits hard and is rather difficult to mistake for anything else.

Does it do this at a specific point in the RPM band, or a certain boost, or is there no pattern to it?

Do you have a real boost gauge, or is your 10psi an estimate?
