Well...After owning my car for a while now and have done lots of different things with it...For one reason or another, I'm JUST now deciding to start a rebuild thread. After having a stock turbo, .57 trim, 60-1, a million different wheels, upgrades here, replacements there, add-ons here, etc etc, I will "officially" begin my rebuild.........as soon as I find a daily driver.
I'll just start off from the beginning before this thread gets spammed away...
Bought my 88 Turbo Hardtop Auto (ROFL: I just realized saying those 3 words in order 5 times fast is REALLY hard!!
) I keep saying Hurbo, Tard-top, Auto :rofl:
ANYWAYS, I bought it in September of 2005 down in Southern Indiana.
My on-hand goodies were a fresh JDM 7M swapped in, stock turbo (soon replaced by a .57 trim CT), fresh Toyota HG torqued 76lb.ft's, 3" exhaust...that was about it for the time being.
Other than just replacing miscellaneous hoses/wires/pumps for the next few months, I had just put on the .57 trim.
Well, just an update, I'm currently running a 60-1 CT clipped 10 degrees with some other mods...At Chi2k6, (by Dynojet) put down 320rwhp/360rwtq @ 13psi.
About a month ago, due to overheating because of a damned coolant hose, I BHG'd myself...so being my dailydriver and having to commute, had to just do a quick-fix job...Block has a few pits that are kind of scary, head isn't too bad at all...but just used a Felpro HG and retorqued 65lb.ft's just to make due until I could find another car.
While this is going on and I'm trying to find another car, I'm in pursuit or already have: Lexus AFM, 550cc Injectors, Head & Block professionally prepped, getting rid of the 60-1 and going to go with something just a tad bit bigger, a few more other misc. things along with suspension...and then 20" spinners, APC blue LED shift knob on auto, APC blue steering wheel cover, GT-R badges, 600 shawt of NAWSSZZZ, Blue LED underglo'z...you know, the horsepower adders.
I've got to get ready for work so I'll post up some pic's of random things tonight...other than that.....Yeah, I'm done for now. Later ladies.
