boost leak

will a little boost leak make a big differnce in power.see i have a autamatic i know thats part of the reason why my car is slow.but it seems real slow like it does not spotter or anything.it does not lope it idles fine just does not have the power please help.

it really depends on how bad your boost leak is. quike test would be water and soap on places where pressurized air lines from the turbo would connect. start your car and watch for bubbles.

Just think about how the boost works...You're letting post-metered positive manifold pressure escape
Your car will only have much in the way of idling problems if there's a noticeable hole in a pipe or if it's popped off.

i got a boost leak that i can't find!:3d_frown: And i was talking to this dude today he said the easiest way to find the leak is to spray carb spray on the suspected spots...Will this work? :1zhelp:
